Our ventilation hoods are designed for all types of activity in professional kitchens, such as above stoves, cooktops, deep fryers, combination ovens, or dishwashers. The hoods are available in many different combinations, with or without UV/Ozone technology.
Available in three basic designs:
Cooking Hood
Dishwashing Hood
Condensation Hood
The hoods are available in various combinations and with optional extras:
Exhaust air
Supply air (optional)
Control air (optional)
UV purification (optional)
LED lighting, IP65
Rational suspension system (optional)
Protective film (optional)
The exhaust unit is standardized for a maximum air volume of 300 l/s, but the air volume is easily adjusted by installing blanking plates. We use efficient baffle filters that remove 98% of particles larger than 7µm. For larger hoods, multiple exhaust units can be installed.
Adjustment dampers and measuring points are of course included in each unit.
UV purification of the exhaust air removes grease and reduces odors. This leads to four important advantages:
Reduced costs for cleaning exhaust ducts.
Reduced risk of fire.
Reduced odor.
Increased potential for heat recovery.
UV purification is the industry’s most widely used and proven method. One of the major advantages is that no grease deposits build up in the ventilation ducts. This means that the costs for cleaning the duct system are significantly reduced. In addition, the risk of fire is significantly reduced, providing increased safety for both personnel and the company’s finances.
In ventilation systems where no grease deposits build up, the energy savings achieved through the installation of heat recovery can also be utilized. The UV equipment enables savings both in terms of finances and the environment.
To maintain optimal cleaning efficiency, the UV lamps must be wiped clean at regular intervals.
VentiQ’s new revolutionary UV hood has an ingenious solution for easily keeping the UV lights clean over time. Here is an explanation of how simple cleaning is:
Grasp the handle on the filter hatch and pull it down. An advanced safety system ensures that the UV lights are switched off when the hatch is opened. The system meets all norms/certifications.
The grease filters are removed for cleaning, for example in the dishwasher. When the hatch is pulled down, it is easier to remove the filters for cleaning, as they are then at a height that is easy for the operator to reach.
When the UV lamps are lowered and the filters are removed, it is easy to clean them with a cloth or similar.
Then put the cleaned filters back in place, close the hatch, and the system is ready for use again.
It couldn’t be simpler!
All our hoods can be supplied with integrated supply air. The supply air enters the kitchen through the entire front section of the hood. This provides a large surface area and thus a low air velocity. This, in turn, creates a good working environment for the kitchen staff and a low noise level. All units include adjustment dampers and measuring points.
The condensation hood effectively collects water vapor and directs it to the kitchen’s drainage system. The condensation plates are easy and quick to disassemble for cleaning. LED lighting is standard. Can be installed together with VentiQ’s QIS (hvis du har en forklaring på hva QIS står for, legg det til her, f.eks. “VentiQ’s QIS (Quick Installation System)”).
All our hoods can be supplied with control air (also sometimes referred to as make-up air) that effectively captures the contaminated air. This also applies to hoods without supply air. We use a separate fan that pushes air streams horizontally at the bottom edge of the front hood. This creates an “air curtain” effect, preventing contaminated air from escaping into the kitchen.
